Weather Warning

Environment Canada heeft in de vooravond een Weather Warning de wereld in gestuurd, een waarschuwing voor 'zwaar weer' dus. Dat bericht is dan regelmatig op radio en televisie te horen en op de website als volgt te lezen:

Severe thunderstorm warning for Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick continued

An area of severe thunderstorms is moving through central and eastern portions of New Brunswick. Cells extend from Miramichi southwest toward Boiestown while another group of cells is approaching the Moncton region. These cells are capable of producing heavy rain winds gusting up to 90 km/h and hail near 2 cm in diameter.

This is a warning that severe thunderstorms are imminent or occurring in these regions. Remember some severe thunderstorms produce tornadoes..Listen for updated warnings.

A warm and humid airmass continues to trigger thunderstorms across parts of Central and Eastern New Brunswick this evening. It is anticipated that some of these thunderstorms could be severe and thus have the potential to produce strong winds hail and heavy rainfall.
